Email address — collected at signup for authentication and notifications
Referral activity — links created, clicks, conversions attributed to your account
Earnings data — commission amounts, payout history
Messages — content sent via the Circle messaging feature
Settings and preferences — your sharing and notification preferences
For brands — business name, registration number, contact details, commission settings

3. How we use your data

To provide and operate the platform
To send OTP login codes and earnings notifications via email
To calculate and track referral commissions
To verify brand applications
To comply with legal obligations

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of contract (to provide the service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (to operate and improve the platform). For marketing communications we will rely on consent.

5. Data processors

We share data with the following processors who act on our instructions:

Resend — email delivery (resend.com)
Cloudflare — infrastructure, Workers, KV storage (cloudflare.com)
Stripe — payment processing and identity verification (stripe.com) — when enabled

We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Session data expires after 7 days. OTP codes expire after 10 minutes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights email hello@connectandvouch.com.

8. Cookies

We use a single session cookie (vouch_session) which is essential for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
